NJAPZA has four classes of Regular membership:
Classes IA and IB memberships are open to those individuals who are employed by a municipal government and provide administrative or zoning enforcement services in a land use office.
Class IIA membership is open to those individuals who have been a Class I member in the past but have retired or moved out of state.
Class IIB membership is open to any individual with an interest in the field of planning and zoning.
Other types of membership:
Honorary and Lifetime memberships may be awarded at the discretion of the Membership Committee and Board of Directors
Qualifications for Membership
To be considered a regular member, qualified individuals must file a membership application annually and pay the dues established under the NJAPZA by-laws.
To be eligible for Lifetime membership, an individual must have been an active, contributing member in good standing for a minimum of 25 years, be nominated by the Membership Committee and be confirmed by the Board of Directors.
